Pelea con Causa for Maternity House and Mental Health Center
PUEBLA, Pue. – Governor Alejandro Armenta reminded that boxer Gaby “La Bonita”‘s match will be a cause-driven event.
“The funds from this fight will go towards building the Maternity House, as we agreed with the promoter. We invite everyone’s support; ticket sales will cover the equipment for the Maternity House, aligning with our president’s humanist vision.”

Event Details
- The match, organized by Secretary of Youth and Sports Gabriela Sánchez Saavedra, aims to raise funds for the Maternity House construction under DIF’s direction.
- Proceeds will also support a Center for Children and Adolescents’ Mental Health within Casa Puebla.
Governor Armenta emphasized that no public building should be luxurious; instead, they aim to provide dignified spaces for women, children, and youth. This aligns with President Claudia Sheinbaum’s vision of inclusive development.
- Maternity House: Will offer quality care including 24 recovery beds, three operating rooms, obstetric emergency room, intensive and intermediate care units, neonatal care area, and labor and recovery rooms.
- Mental Health Center: A national model to address addiction and suicidal tendencies among young people, fostering social reconstruction under Sheinbaum’s guidance and Armenta’s humanist approach.
