Ozone Levels Dropped Below Threshold
According to meteorological models, “the displacement of high-pressure system towards the Gulf of Mexico allowed for significant reduction in atmospheric stability over the ZMVM,” stated CAMe in a press release.
Favorable Wind Conditions
Moderate south winds were recorded from early afternoon, with strong gusts that “facilitate the dispersion of ozone,” added CAMe.
