According to the Colombian National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE), as of February 2025, Colombian exports totaled 7,557.1 million USD FOB, marking a 1.7% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Export Breakdown
- Combustibles y productos de las industrias extractivas: 3,067.8 million USD FOB, down by 16% from the same period in 2024.
- Productos Agropecuarios, alimentos y bebidas: 2,288.3 million USD FOB, up by 29.5% from the same period in 2024.
- Manufacturas: 1,550.3 million USD FOB, up by 2.1% from January-February 2024.
- Otros sectores: Variation of 31.1 percent.
February Sales Externals
At the end of February, external sales amounted to 3,780.3 million USD FOB, a decrease of 0.8% compared to February 2024 records.
The decline is mainly due to a drop in exports from the Combustibles y productos de industrias extractivas group, down by 17.5%, according to DANE.
Additionally, it was reported that 11.4 million barrels of crude oil were exported in February, a decrease of 8.4% compared to February 2024.
Export Contributions
- Combustibles y productos de industrias extractivas: Contributed 39.7% of the total FOB value of exports.
- Productos Agropecuarios, alimentos y bebidas: Contributed 30.3%.
- Manufacturas: Contributed 21.6%.
- Otros sectores: Contributed 8.5%.
