Trump Expands Aluminum Tariffs to Include Beer and Empty Aluminum Cans

The U.S. Department of Commerce reviewed this Wednesday the 25% tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump on aluminum derivatives, adding beer and empty aluminum cans to the list.

The department announced in a Federal Register notice that these tariffs would be applied from 12:01 a.m. EDT (10:01 p.m. CDMX) on April 4, 2025.
